As per National Family Health Survey Report (2015-16) close to 25% women in Uttar Pradesh get married by the age of 18. Marriage at young age means early family planning and early setting-in of feminine issues. On an average most women in the state bear 3 children and out of these 90% are normal deliveries. Close to 30% of women in the state have a BMI of 25 and above. This further adds to the quantum of feminine issues.
